Directing the Soccer Tournament at the 2006 NAIG: |
|
In addition to coordinating and training Team New Mexico Soccer for the NAIG, SYS also directed the entire international soccer tournament at the Games. SYS Execu- |

for the tournament and other SYS staff members and |

volunteers served as managing directors, venue managers, results managers and field attendants. In the months leading up to the Games, SYS was in constant communication with NAIG officials in Denver. SYS staff cooperated with NAIG officials to schedule games for the 23 Canadian Aboriginal and Native American teams represented in the tournament and also worked to secure venues and referees for the tournament. |
